I’m an experienced journalist and writer living in south-east Queensland.

For the past seven years, I’ve worked at print newspapers and online mastheads as a daily news reporter, covering everything from breaking news to complex investigations.

Before that, I worked as a freelance copywriter and fiction editor.

I’m known for my detail-oriented edits, clear communication style and straightforward approach.

My journalism experience means I’m very comfortable working to tight deadlines and set requirements.

I’m adept at researching, analysing and putting into context large swathes of information, translating complex concepts into digestable bites, and quickly comprehending issues.

As a fiction author, my work has been shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards and published internationally.
